Biggest or most important tournament win of your career?

Winning 9 WSA/PSA 5K titles. But winning my most recent one in Christchurch was a career highlight beating world number #32 Siyoli Waters in the final.

Favourite destination you have competed in for a squash tournament and why?

California – Awesome tournament we got really well looked after and taking out on an amazing boat trip at the end of the tournament. Also the weather was amazing and lots of beaches.

Best Squash experience and why?

Definitely playing in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last year against Nicol David on the main glass court in front an amazing crowd. It was a pretty amazing feeling walking out into that atmosphere and then playing Nicol.

What are some of your interests outside of squash and why?

Food and being in my kitchen. I love creating new recipes for our blog I run with one of my friends Sophie (A NZ rower) it’s called “Megs and Soph”.

Also being outside, out in the boat, wakeboarding, and lying on a beach. Love spending time with my family and going on big family holidays. I’m a personal trainer outside of squash and absolutely love helping people in the gym to achieve their goals.

Who was your childhood hero growing up?

Barbra Kendal and Susan Devoy

Who do you consider the favourite to take home the Australian Open?

Joelle King because she has been out injured and has been back on court and doing well and because she’s a fellow kiwi. I would also love to cause an upset of course

What can we expect from you at the Australian Open?

I’d love to cause an upset somewhere along the lines but definitely to just play some good squash
